Spain’s National Sports Council(CSD)have ruled in favour of Laliga and postponed two of this weekends matches in the Spanish top flight: Sevilla Vs Barcelona and Villarreal Vs Alaves.
This is due to the conflict with CONMEBOL,as several South American players were called up to play in this international break and would only arrive back in Spain just before these games were set to take place .
The Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) understood that this was not a cause force majeure to postpone the match, which forced Laliga to appeal to the CSD to meet their request.
